Dieses Buch beinhaltet eine sehr interessante Geschichte. Ja, es ist eindeutig Dark – Romance aber auf eine besondere Weise. Es könnte auch ein Thriller sein, so wie die Geschichte aufgebaut ist. Es hat mich ein bisschen an den Film ” Eve und der letzte Gentleman ” erinnert, allerdings ist das Buch viel, viel düsterer. Und, wenn man in den Medien blättert, wird dem einen oder anderen der Fall Fritzl noch geläufig sein. Also unrealistisch fand ich die Geschichte daher jetzt nicht.
Meine Meinung:

sehr eindringlicher Sprachstil und eine fantastische Übersetzung machen
dieses Buch zu einem echten Leseerlebnis. Und obwohl es im Hauptteil
nur zwei Protagonisten hat, die miteinander agieren und eine sehr
kleine, eng begrenzte Welt ist es niemals langweilig. Ja, man muss sich
auf das Setting, die Geschichte und auch auf die Protagonisten
einlassen, aber wenn man das kann ist das Buch ganz zauberhaft
schrecklich. Oder schrecklich zauberhaft. Die Essenz ist natürlich:
Liebe besiegt sogar den stärksten Gegner, wenn man den Mut hat sich
darauf einzulassen und hinter die Fassade blicken kann.
Fazit: Für jeden Fan von Dark – Romance ein must read.
This book has a very interesting story. Yes, it is dark romance of course ,but in a special way. It could also be a thriller, the story is structured very thrilling. It reminded me a little of the movie “Eve and the Last Gentleman”, but the book is much, much darker. And if you leaf through the media, the Austrian Fritzl case will still be in some peoples mind. So I didn’t find the story unrealistic.
My opinion:
Due to a very haunting language style and a fantastic translation this book is a real pageturner. And although there are only two protagonists in the main part that interact with each other and a very small, narrowly defined world, it is never boring. Yes, you have to get involved in the setting, the story and also the protagonists, but if you can, the book is magically terrible. Or terribly magic. The essence is natural: love defeats even the strongest opponent if you have the courage to get involved and look behind the facade.
Conclusion: A must read for every fan of Dark Romance.
