Terrifying. I was scared. But not that bad people were after Lindsey, but that someone had cancer. It felt like coming home to a long missed family. And I absolutely loved the crossover with another series. Criss-crossing at its best. What more can I say? Surprisingly, there were less clues about the next couple than in previous books, but everything was perfect. A nail-biting story about a murdered man garnished with an asshole – ex. Most of the people from the Arrows MC were there, but it looked a bit like a “next generation” theme. Still, it was great to read and showed a lot of new facets of Wapi, who is in full protection mode. Lindsey is like the “princess” Wapi calls her: go through the shit, fix the crown, move on. You can always be sure to be part of a loving family.
What more can I say. Unfortunately nothing, sorry, because this book is a perfect as it is. It seems that my head cinema and the writing style of Freya Barker cling together perfectly. I loved this as much as any of her books. Thank you for this reconnection to Durango and the long missed family 🙂
Schrecklich. Ich hatte Angst. Aber nicht wegen der bösen Menschen, die Lindsey verfolgten, sondern wegen der Tatsache, dass jemand Krebs hat. Es fühlte sich an, als käme man nach Hause zu einer lange vermissten Familie. Und ich habe die Vermischung mit einer anderen Serie absolut geliebt. Criss-Cross-Over vom Feinsten. Was kann ich noch sagen? Überraschenderweise gab es weniger Hinweise auf das nächste Paar als in früheren Büchern, aber alles war perfekt. Eine spannende Geschichte über einen getöteten Mann garniert mit einem Arschloch – Ex. Die meisten Leute des Arrows MC waren anwesend, aber es sah ein wenig nach einem “Next Generation” Thema aus. Trotzdem war es toll zu lesen und zeigte viele neue Facetten von Wapi, der im vollen Schutzmodus ist. Lindsey ist wie die” Prinzessin”, als die sie von Wapi betitelt wird: durch die Scheiße gehen, Krone richten, weitermachen. Man kann sich immer sicher sein, dass man Teil einer liebevollen Familie ist.
Was soll ich noch sagen. Leider nichts, sorry, denn dieses Buch ist so perfekt wie es ist. Es scheint, dass mein Kopfkino und der Schreibstil von Freya Barker perfekt zusammenpassen. Ich habe dieses Buch genauso geliebt wie alle anderen Bücher von ihr. Danke für diese Wiederbegegnung mit Durango und der lang vermissten Familie 🙂
